Figure out where AI fits in my business
Where AI fits in your business, and what to do about it first.
A working session or a written roadmap that looks at how your team works today, the AI tools already inside your stack, and the workflows a model could take over. You get a short list ranked by return and effort, and a straight answer on what to leave alone.
Also covers AI strategy sessionAI roadmap
- Half day strategy session
- 2 to 3 weeks to a written roadmap
- Fixed price quoted before we start
- Tool neutral starting with what you pay for
Who this is for
- Everyone on your team is trying AI tools and nobody can say what is working.
- Your board or your boss is asking for an AI plan and you need one that holds up.
- You are paying for AI features in Shopify, your helpdesk, or your CRM and not using them.
- You want to know which workflows are worth automating before you pay anyone to build.
What you get
- A review of how work moves through your team today, and where the time goes.
- An inventory of the AI already inside your stack: Shopify, your helpdesk, your CRM, and the rest.
- A ranked list of workflows a model could take over, with the return and effort for each.
- What to leave alone, and why.
- A roadmap your team can run, or hand to any developer.
Selected work
- Spacebox Digital AI-assisted development workflow built for the team, as their CTO.
- My own consulting platform Client intake, statements of work, and invoicing, run by AI agents, with a person approving every statement of work and invoice.
My take
Most teams I talk to do not have an AI problem. They have three subscriptions with AI features nobody switched on, a few people quietly pasting customer data into a chatbot, and nobody deciding which of it should become how the company works. The roadmap is that decision, written down. Sometimes the first step is a setting in a tool you already own, not a build.
How it works
Intro call
Your team, your tools, and the question you need answered.
Interviews and review
Short conversations with the people doing the work, and a look at the tools they use.
Written roadmap
Ranked by return and effort, and walked through on a call.
The math
I've run an eight-person agency, held leadership in a larger one, and been CTO of a third. I know where agency budgets go: overhead, junior hours, handoffs.
AI changed that math. The person who scopes the work is the person who builds it, and there is nobody in between.

Questions
What is the difference between the session and the roadmap?
The session is half a day with your team, working through where AI fits, with a written summary afterward. The roadmap goes further: I talk to the people doing the work, look at the tools themselves, and write a plan ranked by return and effort. Many teams start with the session and decide from there.
Is this only for Shopify stores?
No. Most of the teams I work with sell through Shopify, so I know that stack in detail, but the review covers whatever your team runs on. The roadmap names tools by what they do, not by who sells them.
Will you build what the roadmap recommends?
If you want me to. Builds are scoped and priced separately, as pilots on the AI engineering page. The roadmap is written so any developer can pick it up instead.
What about data privacy?
The roadmap covers it for every workflow it recommends: what data the model sees, where it is processed, and which plans keep it out of training. If a workflow cannot be done without sending data you are not comfortable sending, the roadmap says so.
