My take
If someone on your team will edit the site every week, use Webflow. If the site changes a few times a year and you care about speed, ownership, and cost, build it in code and host it in your own Netlify account. The wrong answer is picking code because it sounds more serious and then paying a developer for every headline change.

Questions
Webflow or custom code: which should I pick?
Pick by who edits the site and how often. Weekly edits by a non-developer point to Webflow. A site that changes a few times a year, where speed and ownership matter, points to Astro or SvelteKit with the code in your own repository. I will recommend one on the scope call and explain why.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
On Webflow, yes, through its editor. On a code-based site, copy and images live in files or a small CMS, and the handoff covers how to change them. Larger changes, like new page types, are scoped as short projects.
Do you do design, or just development?
Development, and layout when there is no designer involved. If you have a designer, I build from their files. If you do not, I work from your content and a clear reference for the look you want.
How much does a marketing website cost?
A landing page is a short fixed-scope project. A full marketing site depends on the page count, the platform, and the integrations, and is priced in the proposal after the scope call. Hosting on Netlify is billed to your own account and is often free at marketing-site traffic levels.
